Bebek Bengil, Ubud Bali

We call it "Bebek Bengil", you can say it as "Dirty Duck". The restaurant is located in Ubud area, 10km from Denpasar City to the north close to Kintamani or Tampak Siring.

I like the interior of this restaurant, specially that they also had sawah (padi field) view at the backyard. Well, actually Bandung (my beloved hometown) has many restaurant with the same concept like this restaurant. But I don't care, it still look nice.

And how about the duck itself...?
IMO, mmhhh...not special, standard, I can find other duck with better taste, but worth to try.

Sorry.

Jayakarta Hotels & Resorts, Kuta-Legian, Bali

We were staying seven days and six nights at Jayakarta hotels & Resorts, Kuta Legian Bali and quite satisfied with the facilities and services.

We had no problem when we're check in, just a little bit mis-interpretation to locate the lobby for Club Bali since it's located separate from the main lobby. Perhaps they have to put a bigger billboard sign to attract the guests attention.

We stayed at the apartment on the first floor, quite dusky IMO and need more lights. And after we check all facilities inside the apartment, it's time for me to check the internet connection. Well, my IM2 couldn't connect to the HSDPA signal, not even the GPRS signal when I tried at the guest room. Then I try at the bedroom. Gotcha, only one bar...! Ah, unlucky me. I asked to the receptionist about the WiFi but they said they had a problem at that time, I couldn't use it. No internet connection for a week...? Aarrgghhh...!!! It's too tired for me to go to the internet cafe.

Pools and access to the beach are OK, quite safe for my children since this resort has a "private" beach area. And yes, my daughter and my son are really excited to play at the beach. They're first time indeed. A little bit confused when we try to use towels since we had to take those towels not from the pool area but we have to take them from the Club Bali Lobby.

Overall, it's never feel satisfied when you have a vacation in Bali. Someday we have to go there, again.

Jakarta deserves a better airport...!

I don't know about you, but for me Soekarno Hatta Airport is really not comfortable.

I have experiences using International and also Domestic Gates, both are sucks. I mean the rooms are so dusky with minimum lights. Then please take a visit to the rest rooms, what's your opinion about them...?

See the people working for the airport itself...? Looks like they're not so friendly, ya...? How about the "taxi competition" atmosphere once you walking out through the exit door...? Arrgghhh, really annoying.

Access to the airport...? Well, thanks God my home is close to the Tangerang Gate therefore I still can avoid the flood :p.
